How to install the
NFB-16 is a portable headphone amp built in DAC. At two years ago
some customers advice me design a portable DAC + amp . But consider
the amp design can't support low to 5V power supply, and I don't
want design by a chip as the amp, so I can't design at that time.
I always like to try to design this amp as
a target , after a lot practices, at last year I design the
wide power supply ACSS amp, it can working well at +4 to +36V DC.
Built by discrete analog stages without any OPA in the signal channels.
Built in 12.6V / 2500MA battery power supply .
The battery working time ( full charge, Test at 25 Celsius
room temperature , only for FYI ):
: 5-6 hours (continuous working ) .
5-10 hours ( intermittent working)
: 20-25 hours (continuous working).
20-35 hours ( intermittent working)
Non- feedback ACSS analog output stage, wide range power supply,
from +5V (USB power supply) to +12.6V (internal battery power
More than 5,000uf audio
grade NOVER capacitors are used to ensure ample and smooth power
Total of 2 groups class A PSU are used to purify the power supply.
Applies a custom order ALPS 27 volume pot for reducing channel
imbalance and improving on sound quality.
