Master 7
What's new in the Master 7(2016):
The Master 7 was
released in July 2012, it had not upgrade more than 50 months had .
This is a very long term to a digital product without upgrade . Most
manufacturers will upgrade the digital models within one year . But
the Master 7 had the serious hardware design, even over 4 years but
we still had not the point how to upgrade its hardware design . The
only weak point is the Master 7 support up to 192K but the 384K had
become popular in today.
In 2015, Mr. He had
contact several tens engineers wish can make the new software . Two
engineers consider they can finished the order but because they are
not working in the audio industry, they only promise the software
can working with the functions but not promise the sound quality,
even they ask the USD30,000 for the laborage .
Mr. He had despond
on the replied. He decide design the software by himself . He spend
a ton of time to study , debug ,finally , the new software had
finished the design . It had a lot improved on paper and listen .
On the specs, the new
software can support up to 384K sampling, since the PCM1704 support
up to 1536K input , so while the input sampling is 384K or 352K, the
unit will switch to 4X oversampling working. This is similar to the
ES9018. The ES9018 also support up to 1536K . It will lower the
oversampling if necessary for working.
Mr. He spend a lot time
to design and optimize the timing , the unit working as
without jitter, obvious improve the dynamic and S/N specs.
The serious design also let the
unit working very steady . While users setting different working
modes, the unit will not effect by the source jitter and cause the
imbalance as the older design.
In sound quality, the new
design had the more neutral sound, more exact sound stage , more new
detail can be hear in the older design, and the powerful sound if
the recorder had .
Even the users like the smooth
and warm sound, they also can got the advantage . The unit can
setting working on 8X, 4X , 2X and NOS modes for offer the different
level warmer and smoother sound.
The new NOS mode design had include,
it can sound warm and smooth but not lost the detail.
The Master 7(2016) is the
ultimate design of the PCM1704 chip .
The DSP processor is soldered on the main board directly for
best signal transfer and faster data processing and clocking, it
brings the detail, transparency and dynamics to another level
over all other audio-gd DACs. It allows users to hear the flaws and
perfections of the source recording (matched with a revealing amp) .
There are no design
compromises, no parts are upgradeable, built with all high-grade
audio parts, OCC wires, TCXO ,ect.
It is a fully new
design concept . The SPDIF inputs have applied special interfaces
for processing data, allowing the highest sound quality for the
different SPDIF inputs.

(* please note: For the USB32 built in device, like the DI 2014, it
support up to 352K. Because the technicians always change quickly in
this Taiwan company .
For the IIS input, if the signal cable is long or low quality may
can't not support up to 384K, but in our test without any issue ).
Fully balanced discrete analog stages without any OPA or coupling caps in the signal channel.
Non- feedback ACSS analog output stage.
Total of 21 groups dedicated power circuits (19 groups of
high-quality class A parallel connection PSU's with dedicated DC
supply double-stage PSU), and more than 50,000uF caps are used to purify the
power supply.
