The rule of the power ON /  OFF:
Power On :
     Source
power ON ---->    NFB-10 power ON ----> Amp power ON
Power Off:
    Amp power OFF
---->  NFB-10 power OFF   ---> Source power OFF .

How to connect the headpone which have two 3 pins XLR connectors :
     
Some headphone have two 3 pins XLR connectors, users can connect the two 3 pins XLR of preamp output on rear, the performance is same as the front balance headphone output . (Please confirm the preamp output have setting on variable output model ( Default ) ,  select the unit to " Preamp" output model .

Setting the bit and sampling transfer:
     
Win 7 :The NFB-10.32 have driver control panel can setting the bit and sampling , we are recommend setting at 32 bit transfer for the best transfer with WM8741(WM8741 can accept 32bit input data) . (Once users setting 32bit in driver control panel, the Windows device audio control panel will appear 32bit option .)
     In Mac OSX have not driver install necessary , so there is have not driver control panel but users can setting in the OSX MIDI option panel .

How to set the NFB-10.32 DAC output in ¡§variable line level¡¨ mode or ¡§fixed line level¡¨ mode?
         NFB-10.32 has dedicated DAC output in RCA, XLR and ACSS. In default, its output level mode is set to ¡§variable line level¡¨ (If your amplifier or active speaker has no volume control, we advise to set it to ¡§variable line level¡¨). If users would like to switch to ¡§fixed line level¡¨ mode, please push a jumper into the socket as illustrated in the following photo.
         
The jumper is pushed into the socket labeled in the red pane for ¡§fixed line level¡¨ mode. (Please pull out the power cord before the cover of the chassis is taken off)

Remote control function:

            

IN1 to IN3: Select the input source.   

Signal + and - : Push once to adjust volume up and down in single step.

H/P: Select the output source.

GAIN: Select the high / low gain mode.

To power ON/Off the NFB-10.32 .

DAC/HP button:
Select the output source.
H:   Headphone output.
P:   Preamplifier output. (Users can choose between ¡§variable line level¡¨ and ¡§fixed line level¡¨ mode in Preamplifier output. In ¡§fixed line level¡¨ mode, NFB-10.32 becomes a Fully Balanced Dedicated DAC; In ¡§variable line level¡¨ mode, NFB-10.32 becomes a Fully Balanced Dedicated DAC + Fully Balanced Preamplifier.

Gain button:
Select the high / low gain mode.
H: High gain mode at +12dB.     L: Low gain mode at 0dB.

Select the input sources.   1: USB input. 2: Coaxial input. 3 : Optical input.

Volume Down and Up button:
1. After powering on the NFB-10.32, it will display ¡§NFB-10¡¨ three times and show the last settings before power off (display is flashing). You then have to push either the ¡§volume down¡¨ or the ¡§volume up¡¨ button, otherwise there will be no sound. If you push and hold the "volume down" button for one second, NFB-10.32 will forget the volume level previously set and reset the volume to zero, other settings being unchanged. Otherwise, if you push and hold the "volume up" button for one second, NFB-10.32 will resume the volume level previously set, other settings also being unchanged.
2. Push ¡§volume up¡¨ or ¡§volume down¡¨ button once to change the volume in single step.
3. Push and hold ¡§volume up¡¨ or ¡§volume down¡¨ button to change the volume quickly.
