DAC-11 Technical Features:
1. Digital & Analog / Left & Right Completely Separated Inner Layout.

2. DAC-11 applies an upgradeable structure. The inner digital processing board, the D/A converter chip pad and the analog output circuit have all been made modules, which makes it very easy for the users to upgrade the inner circuit on their own to keep with the latest trend of audio. The reserved “active clock module” or “secondary phase lock module” sockets also ensure a simple and easy upgrade.

3. DAC-11 guarantees a truly balance output. The parallel differential in each channel with the use of a top-grade Philips chips group leads to a 22Bit conversion precision. The multi-differential structure eliminates the noise and distortion effectively before they reach the output port. Even under unbalanced output, two groups of DAC chips can also been fully utilized to ensure a better sound quality. By adopting CAST technology in DAC 11D, it achieves a better dynamic and a higher fidelity.

4. DAC-11 possesses a high-powered 250W toroidal transformer and an excess 70,000 UF audio special filter capacitor to ensure a sufficient power supply (such a large capacitor exceeds many so called high-end power amplifiers). The power suppliers with different functions all come from independent winding commutating transformers. 22 groups of parallel voltage stabilizing circuits are combined to generate two-stage cascade parallel stable voltage. By doing so, it not only provides pure power supply, but also lowers the internal resistance of the power. The cost and area of the power section both exceed 60% of the whole. Such an emphasis on power source is still scarce in domestic market, but it is the key to success for all the imported high-end products.

5. Transformer and rectifying tube are both shielded, which effectively decreases the clutter interference from the transformer and the radio-frequency interference from the rectifying tube.

6. DIR ship supports CS8414, CS8412. Digital filter supports most of the 28-pin IC, for example, the HDCD Decode PMD100, Top Grade SM5803, SM5813, DF1704, DF1700, etc.

7. The whole DAC is sealed by WBT.

8. To achieve the best performance of DAC-11, heavyweight pure aluminum alloy machine box is used to prevent the eddy current of transformer from interfering on circuit board. The upper plate and under plate of the box are both made from aluminum alloy which is 5MM thick, the lateral plate 8MM and the face plate up to 12MM. The net weight of the box is 8KG. Moreover, the inner part is separated into 4 sections by 5MM aluminum boards, which eliminates the interference among the circuits.

9. High accuracy components are used to guarantee the accuracy of balanced output. All connectors adopt the high quality imported name brands.

10. DAC-11 can output truly balanced two-channel signal (Canon), ordinary RCA output signal as well as CAST current signal. It applies to any sound system, with both BNC and RCA coaxial input. However, the time base flutter under BNC input is about ten times lower under ordinary RCA input and that enables a more clear and transparent sound.

Tone Features:  It already has an all-around sound and a large dynamic range.
