DAC-100

DAC-100

Upgrade to Discrete OPA

DAC-100  Technical characteristic:

In DAC-100, all resistors used are of DALE brand.
Film caps are EVOX, also known as "RIFA" previously, they are more dynamic and detailed in character, and also a lot more musical.
Electrolytic caps are specially ordered by us from NOVER, it is an English brand, we place the order, and NOVER makes the caps to suit our requirements. These caps sound very neuter and neutral.
The USB processor employed is PCM2707, we don't use PCM2707 inside D/A processor, it outputs I2S signal to AD1852.
The coaxial input processor is DIR9001, the least jitter chip currently; jitter only at 40PS, while CS8416 jitter is 200PS!
DIR9001 can run in 24 Bit/96KHz sample frequency range.
DAC-100 uses a 50W R-transformer; high performance R-transformer can help to make the sound of the DAC more detailed and musical.
In DAC-100, the R-transformer and diodes are separated from main board and has shield of metal board, as a result the RF and 50Hz/100HZ cannot affect the signal circuits, keeping the sound at its best.
DAC-100 uses four groups Parallel Stabilized class A Voltage Supply; it is just like the single class "A" Stabilized Voltage Supply, which keeps the power supply more pure, resulting in low noise. These Parallel Stabilized Voltage Supply offers power supply for each part of DAC-100, making each part work at its optimal.
DAC-100 uses AD1852; it has a 24 Bit/ 192KHz sample frequency range. But after through listening and comparison, we found the AD1852 works best on 24 Bit/96KHz (although the input data is 16Bit/44.1K). AD1852 has an excellence digital fitter, so the output analogue circuit used can be simple, simple analogue circuit helps in keeping the phase distortion at its lowest, making the sound more focused and detailed. End of analogue circuit, we use group cascade FET buffer, with output impedance of only 22 ohms.

DAC-100 input: USB1.1 and 75 ohms coaxial.
Output: 2.5V RMS.
Frequency bandwidth: 20Hz-20 KHz (+0,-0.5DB)

Package weigh:    About 3KG

Size:    150(W) 60(H) 210(L)

Price:    USD245(Use OPA2134)
           USD265(Use Discrete OPA-EARTH extension lead)

Tone Features: While Connected to computer, If you love the sound to have a bit of warmth and softness, I advice the use of Beoplayer4.65, you can also try other players, they will have some difference.
If you want to upgrade the Discrete OPA inside, please follow the link below, DAC-100 can use extension lead OPA.
