What's improved  in the NFB-7.32 from the NFB-7?
1, USB-32 built in, ultra low jitter re-clock ability can cooperate well with ES9018 without sound  drop off .
2, All digital and analog signal circuits power supply by 15 groups class A parallel connection for the best sound reproduce.
3, The analog output stages built on the main board without modules install .
4,There is no compromise building , have not any parts can for upgrade , built in all audio grade parts , OCC wires, TCXO , ect .

 


Summarize

Fully balanced design built by discrete analog stages without any OPA and couple caps in the signal channels.
Non- feedback ACSS analog output stage .
Uses 3 units  R-core transformer , more than 40,000uf audio grade NOVER capacitors are used to ensure ample and smooth power feed.
A total of 15 groups of high-quality class A parallel connection PSU connect to  double-stage PSU
power supply for all digital and analog circuits.
To achieve high S/N, the control circuit is powered with separate regulator.
Uses most Hi-end grade parts and exact match transistors.

History :
The first version NFB-7 released at Oct. 2010 , It have not USB version but still had got a lot users favorite . That time we have not the high-end USB chip available for cooperate with NFB-7 .
Since the NFB-7 first version release, we have search the 192K USB chips cooperate with the ES9018 for the best performance implement  .
ES9018 :
On the web browse , I read some  the ES9018 product users feedback experience sound drop off with some  PC sound card .
Discuss with their engineer , he explain the ES9018  built in an extreme high performance 1 GHz  PLL ( ADI , the one of best PLL manufacturer in world )  avoid jitter ,  as most technicians know , ultra high frequency PLL have high request from input signal  , not to refer there is a 1GHz PLL built in ES9018 .
They are put the aim on Hi-End audio area not low-fi, so they won't increase the compatibility cause  the performance degrade .
We design the high speed TTL process circuit for the ES9018 coaxial input  For the best signal level match,   better sound and lower request from sources than manufacturer recommend design .
In our experiences on sell the Sabre products  , only have around 1% users feedback have the occasional drop off or can't support high sampling signal input with connect to some PC sound card  coaxial or optical output.
This is not the fault in the ES9018 .  It is the source have higher jitter or worst SPDIF level not arrive ES9018 request .
This just like the low price car can run by low quality gas but the high performance sport car can't .

USB-32 :
After do a lot practices with almost  well know chips , only two USB chips can work fine with ES9018 through I2S connect direct  , The USB-32 chip is the best  combo with E9018 we are consider,  but its high cost  ever  block us back several times. It is much cost  than any USB chips as we had know .
USB-32 chip is worth the price, it had 32bit / 384K Asynchronous Transfer ability and the Hi-End grade sound quality .
In NFB-7.32, even though the ES9018  support up to 32Bit /192KHz, but the USB-32 chip have 384KHz support ability which is mean it have strong data process ability and very low jitter PLL , can reproduce the better sound .
The NFB-7.32  USB input is so superb so it  without drop off unless your computer very busy to process other softwares and stop response .
USB-32 chip was released July, 2010 from the large  audio and IT manufacturer , through two years grow up, it already very mature and steady .
All USB chips have the ADC and SPDIF RX , we asked the manufacturer custom design the drivers , remove the ADC and SPDIF RX , put the process ability on reduce jitter and improve on sound quality  , so it have extreme low jitter and very detail sound without harsh .
USB-32 chip have quite low request from the computers.  We test by a SONY web book  , 1G memory with an Atom Z510 CPU (WIN7 home version), the web book even can't play 720P video but can work fine with NFB7.32 .I advice users setting on 32 bit output  in the computer  , even playback 16bit files , 32 bit transmit keep the ES9018 working at the best state for the best sound reproduce .

a quick email only to confirm you that everything is working nicely with the NFB7.32. The sound has opened up a bit, but is still very smooth and dynamic. The USB input is excellent, and actually better than my Hiface EVO (which I now sold!).
         I was a bit concerned about a bright sound, but definitely not the case. Instrument separation is nice and voices, especially male, are just fine. All in all it's a nice upgrade from my old Ref.5, and despite the different chip, I still think it retains the Audio-GD house sound and natural/effortless presentation.
         I'm also using your USB cable and is working perfectly.
